Paper plate masks are easy and inexpensive. Plates are super easy to paint and decorate. Use thinner plates for more flexibility. Cut the plates in half so that students can speak beneath the mask. Cut the plates into quarters for the sharper-faced animals (fox, wolf). Fasten the plate on the student’s face with yarn ties. Be sure to punch a hole on the side of the plate. Staple the yarn and tie a knot in the yarn behind the staple.
