screen-shot-2017-01-25-at-2-46-14-pmA quick idea for jazzing up your classroom play? Think paper plates which are easily made into masks.  Plates are easy to paint and decorate. Use the thinner plates for more flexibility. You can cut the plates in half so that students can speak more clearly.  Or if you can cut them into quarters for the sharper-faced animals (fox, wolf). Fasten the plate on the student’s face with yarn ties. Be sure to hole-punch on the side of the plate. You can staple the yarn and tie a knot in the yarn behind the staple.
